This bad boy is one of the larger choppers in its class, weighing in at 3.75 pounds. A 4CH design allows for upward, downward, left, right, and sideways movement. It can also hover.

A built-in battery is the power source and charge time lasts around one hour. Playtime, however, lasts 8 minutes. This helicopter is for outdoor use by kids at least 14-years-old.

6. Syma S111G 3.5 Channel RC Helicopter with Gyro

As with the S109G, the S111 was built with high-impact plastics. It also has a 3.5CH remote enabling six directions of movement. It is super lightweight at less than an ounce, runs on lithium polymer batteries, and is for indoor use by 14-year-olds and older.

Charge time lasts around 40 minutes and works with USB. Maximum flight time is approximately 8 minutes.

Pros include the appearance of a medical rescue chopper, a USB charger, and rugged construction from impact-resistant materials and gyro. The short playtime is a big con, though.

The Verdict
